Hi we just got back from a week at ablacus grande pres
We fished the wild section of the lake
Mange’s 12 fish between us the fishing was hard but we built our swims and the bites started to come
Couple 40s biggest going 43lb a lovely common
Multiple 30s and special little ghostie linear
A absolutely mega venue amazing owners and facilities
We had a very enjoyable stay at Ablacus Gran Pres. The facilities are great, the food is delicious and plentiful and most importantly the owner and all the staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly. All the Ablacus lakes are lovely with fantastic fish.We hope to return next year.

End of session for me at Ablacus. An incredible week at Grands Prés lake, where I was lucky enough to catch many carp, even if it wasn’t easy with the changes in weather and temperature.
Fortunately, there’s a little cottage near the swim, with fridge, induction hob, table, chairs, electricity, everything you need to spend a good time on the bank.
A warm welcome from the managers and owner, nothing to say.
An incredible estate, with numerous lakes, each more interesting than the next, and an on-site shop for all your tackle and bait, where you can rent all your gear if you want to come unloaded, such as bait boats, rods, tents etc…
And that’s not all: you can even have food delivered to the swim, and not just anything: incredible burgers, entrecôtes frites for example, in short a site that’s just crazy with a growing herd.
I’d like to come back to my week in which I totalled 18 runs for 16 fish, and I was lucky enough to beat my common and linear record: an average of over 30 lbs, and 2 of 45+ on the last night!
