Baits

Each angler has his/her preferences with regard to bait but we have had good feedback on the use of the Redacy, Golden Truffle and Brutal Nectar boilies from the Hexabaits range which you can find here.

The bait is of little importance on Foye village as the density of carp is very high. If you wish to attract the biggest fish it will be necessary to use a larger diameter bait. Foye is populated by very combative carp; you will be surprised by their power! Natural baits or false corn also work very well.

Baiting

For the baiting, in view of the surface of the lake, it’s best to be moderate. During our test sessions, we noticed that we could chain starts without baiting or just with small PVAs. Using a large amount of bait would be counter-productive and would decrease fish activity. Fish where the carp are and have fun!

Hot spot

The owner will be happy to explain all the interesting areas direct on site; the banks are not to be neglected and you will have to find the hardest areas. Be observant to detect carp activity as this will be a key element of your success. Depositing and prospecting in a bait-boat will be a real asset but you can also throw. The carp are at your feet, there is no need to look further.
