Overview

Crole lakes is an exceptional 40-acre estate, consisting of two lakes of 6 and 8 acres, located in the Deux Sèvres region, 40 minutes from Poitiers. Each lake has luxurious facilities, including very comfortable safari tents. Several metres separate the two lakes and the topography of the land makes you feel as if you are alone on the estate.

Crolée 1 has a surface area of 6 acres and a depth of up to 4m. 110 carp from 20 to 59 lbs make up the fish stock.  All the fish have been rigorously selected by the owner for their colour, weight, potential... At the lakeside you will enjoy a safari tent with a capacity of 6 people, with kitchen and electricity. You will be able to fish direct from the tent, thanks to a large, covered terrace where you can easily install your bed-chair. It is also possible to rent crole lake 1 and crole lake 2 exclusively for a group of max 6 anglers. Enjoy the company of your family and/or friends without letting go of your rods!

Lake

The lake has a surface area of 6 acres and a depth of up to 4m. You will easily find the most prolific areas, thanks to the boat provided free of charge. Here you can choose between hard areas made of sand and softer areas made of mud. The lake is only available for exclusive rental, for a group of 3 anglers, max.

You will enjoy a comprehensive view of the lake direct from the safari tent included in the rental of the domain. The swim in front of the tent is very large, so can accommodate up to 3 anglers without any problem. If you wish, you can even leave the bivvy at home and install your bed-chair on the covered terrace of the tent.

Fish

The owner carefully prepares his carp stock by taking the time to select the most beautiful fish and those with the greatest potential. You will thus find approximately 110 carp from 20 to 59 lbs for an average of more than 30lbs. There is a great number of 40s in the lake and no nuisance fish. At each run, you can hope to beat your PB or face one of the magnificent fish of Crole lake 1. Sessions are also full of surprises with the presence of koi, fulls, ghost, bi-color, ... A simply great carp stock.

Description

At the main fishing station, a few metres from the lake shore, you will find a luxurious safari tent of approx. 35m2 with a 20m2 covered terrace. You can set up your bedchairs right under this terrace or simply enjoy some shared time with your family and friends. The safari tent consists of 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with fridge and gas hob, a dining area and a living room, all powered by electricity. An atypical and comfortable, accommodation for unforgettable fishing sessions with friends or family. An domain not to be missed !

In the centre of the estate, 50 m from each lake, a large building is at your disposal; it includes 2 bathrooms and a common room. A private bathroom is associated with each lodge and, therefore, each lake. They each have a surface area of 12m2 and include a washbasin, a shower and toilet . The common room has a large sink for washing dishes, and a freezer.

If your reservation is not an exclusive hire the choice of the fishing swim(s) is made before or after your reservation by exchanging emails with our team. If you would like to know which swims are available, please contact us.

To confirm your reservation you must pay a deposit of 25%. 12 weeks before your arrival you will receive an email to pay the balance due. In case of last minute bookings (less than 10 weeks before the date) you will be asked to pay the full amount

Rules

Your week starts from Sunday ( arrival between 1 and 3 pm) to the following Sunday ( leaving between 10 to 12). Your swim will be definitely booked once you have paid a deposit of 50 % two months in advance.
Swimming is strictly forbidden
It is strictly forbidden to wash your dishes in the lake
Showers, toilets , sinks are at your disposal. Please keep them clean.
Please stay quiet, respect nature and other anglers.
Anglers under age must be accompanied by an adult with an authorisation signed by their parents.
All anglers are responsible for any damage caused. You fish under your own responsibility.
Fishing is completely NO KILL
Three rods are allowed per angler. Rods must not be left unattended when fishing.
Pike fishing is strictly forbidden. (you will be excluded if so)
A landing mat (1 m long at least) and an appropriate carp landing net are requested.
Only biwies are allowed. Tents and other shelters are forbidden.
Bait boats are allowed as well as bait rockets ( boilie guns are forbidden) H type bearings to mark your swim are allowed only to spot your swim. Only the ones with tubes are allowed while fishing.
Boilies of high quality are authorized only, as well as cooked seeds, peanuts are prohibited. Our offer of boilies / particules.
Back leads are compulsory for all lines across the centre of the venue so as not to disturb boating.
25 kg of particles are provided to you free of charge for any reservation. All other particles are forbidden, only a few kilos of cooked tiger nuts and hempseed are allowed.
Braided line is strictly forbidden as mainline or leader. Nylon line under 28/100 or over 40/100 breaking strain ( except for a couple of metres) are forbidden too. Leadcore is forbidden too. Only set ups where the lead can discharge easily are allowed. The max size of hooks is size 2 barblesss.
You are requested to respect your catches. Fish must be put back into water after having taking a pic. It is advised to take pics in the water, kneeling down over your landing mat. Retention slings are strictly forbidden.
It is strictly forbidden to mark your fish or mutilate them.
It is forbidden to be drunk on the premises or use drugs.( alcohol must be limited and will be controlled)
