Grand Cimes lake is an old gravel pit which has been water-filled for many years. The average depth is 2.5m and the bottom varies between gravel and small areas of mud.
The lake was abandoned until 2020, when the current owner took over its management. As the gravel pit was not exploited or maintained, nature had taken over and the banks remained wild. The fish like to hang around the edges, but also come to feed in open water. The swims are set up with gravel and will allow you to cover the whole lake easily.
