Lake
Kabaneo is an old marshland pond dating back to the time of the monks, giving it real character and a unique layout.
The lake features:
An unusual, twisting shape
A narrower, river-like section directly in front of the chalet
A wider open-water area further out
With a maximum depth of around 5.5 ft (1.7m) and predominantly silky, silty bottoms, it offers classic carp water conditions. Moderate weed growth and scattered lily pads add both charm and tactical options for anglers.
The lake benefits from a regular inflow of fresh water from a nearby river, keeping conditions healthy all year round.
There are two gravelled swims, well prepared, although vehicle access to the swims is not available.
