Overview

Situated in the Oise region, 2 H 15 from Calais, Peuplier is a 6-acre lake for exclusive hire only for a maximum of 6 anglers. For many years, the owner has been working to improve his lake. Today, Peuplier has a very interesting stock of carp and very comfortable facilities for a fishing session.

There are 200 carp up to 67lbs, with many fish around 35-40 lbs. You will find 2 carp over 60lbs, with an average close to 30lbs. The level of difficulty is moderate and, if the conditions are right, then you can have a great session catching many big fish.

The oval-shaped lake has been perfectly laid out. Thus, you will enjoy 3 double swims located on the same bank. There is also a chalet on one of the swims with a lounge area with fireplace and a kitchen. Perfect for talking to your friends about strategy and the latest fish caught.

With a surface area of 6 acres, this fully-enclosed lake is perfectly immersed in nature. You will have 3, perfectly fitted out, double swims. The lake bottom is mainly gravel and there are no obstacles or weeds to bother you. The depths are quite uniform with a maximum depth of 3m50

The areas most appreciated by the fish are often the edges and the deepest areas. The bank in front of the swims is a priority area to prospect and can bring you a lot of runs. It is up to you to detect the activity of the fish to maximise your chances.

Fish

The carp stock is the real highlight of Peuplier. More than 200 carp swim in these waters and some of them are really impressive. Two carp weighing over 60lbs populate this 6-acre lake: a target for all monster carp hunters. Imagine yourself with one of these carp in your arms and you will understand that the 2h20 drive from Calais is nothing compared with this immense joy.

There are no nuisance fish to report except for a few bream and crayfish but these are only active for a short time during the year. For the rest, you will find a lot of carp between 30 and 45 lbs some of which with magnificent scales. To this, you can add a few catfish which are rarely caught and a single sturgeon. The master of the place is the carp on Peuplier lake. Healthy, fighting fish that will provide you with exciting sessions.

Description

On swim 2, located in the middle of the bank where all the swims are located, you will find a chalet simply fitted out but with all the necessary equipment. There is a lounge area with a fireplace (wood provided), a kitchen with a hob, table and chairs, a fridge with a freezer and sockets for recharging your equipment. The chalet has a direct view of the lake and, in particular, of swim 2.

A few metres behind the chalet, you will find a small sanitary block with WC and shower (with hot water).

If your reservation is not an exclusive hire the choice of the fishing swim(s) is made before or after your reservation by exchanging emails with our team. If you would like to know which swims are available, please contact us.

To confirm your reservation you must pay a deposit of 25%. 12 weeks before your arrival you will receive an email to pay the balance due. In case of last minute bookings (less than 10 weeks before the date) you will be asked to pay the full amount

Rules

No fish to be retained or left unattended. All fish to be returned to the lake as soon as possible.
Rods are NEVER left unattended.
Safe rigs only
Weight clips (Lead clips) must be standard plastic type that secure the swivel.
Leads must eject if line breakage occurs.
Minimum 15lb mainline to be used. No braid or lead core.
Maximum three rods per angler.
All fish to be returned unharmed or unmarked.
All litter, including cigarette ends, must be placed in the bins provided.
No bonfires.
At the end of your stay, it is strictly forbidden to throw the rest of your bait into the water.
The management takes no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to you or your property.
No climbing trees.
Before your departure, the site must be cleaned and left in the same condition as when you arrived.
Fires are forbidden.
