Im looking at 3 of us coming out all fishing in may if we book only 3 people in our party do we potentially have to share the accommodation & lake with 2 other strangers as such ?
Fantastic week at Marinerie. 75 fish caught between 5 of us. Biggest 54.5lb but plenty of 30s with a handful of 40s chucked in. Sturgeons and grassies made a fair few appearances too. Tiger nuts doing the business. There is cray fish in here and they do take the boilie hence using tigers but the carp preferred tigers anyway.
Great owners and very friendly. Leave you too it and if you need anything they go above and beyond to sort it. Thanks again.

Just back from our trip, a great time had by all.. Lovely venue with first class facilities. Fishing was steady all week both day and night.
Several pb`s came out.. Several 40s lots of 30s and 20s plus a Sturgeon at 25lb. Over twenty fish caught, we did have loads of runs but did not connect with the fish, they are obviously very clever at shaking your hook free.Just a sample of fish caught loaded.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful
I would say though that a couple of swims could do with a bit of work.
Best swims were the end one by the cabin and the double down the far end. Both bottom and pop up baits work.

This lake is a little Gem, looks great and the fish are hard fighting and in excellent condition , we managed a total of 25 carp in not ideal weather conditions, the atmosphereicpressure up at 130, four fish were between 42 and 48lbs and 9 mid to upper thirties, our average weight surpassed the advertised average weight of 25lb.
The facilities are to a good standard and hosts attentive.
On a down side, the seasonal low water level made the swims very difficult, it was taking two anglers to safely remove and return the carp, we feel some investment into the swims is very much necessary.
All in all a very successful and enjoyable week and once again another problem free trip organised by Majestic Carp

Just got back from an unforgettable week at Marinerie in France and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best fishing trips of my life.
The lake itself is absolutely stunning – well maintained, peaceful, and full of features to target. The cabin we stayed in was spot-on too: clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right on the bank, making it easy to stay close to the rods 24/7.
The fishing was phenomenal all week. We had loads of carp on the bank, with action both day and night. The quality and size of the fish here are next level – real healthy, hard-fighting French carp.
The highlight of the trip? I managed to land the new lake record, a massive 62lb mirror carp! An absolute beast and a moment I’ll never forget.
Massive thanks to the owners and staff for making the experience so smooth and welcoming. Everything from booking to arrival was easy, and the atmosphere on site is super chilled.
If you’re looking for a top-tier French carp fishing venue with great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and the chance to beat your PB – Marinerie should be top of your list.

With 35 bites and 32 fish caught, we’re very satisfied.
We caught a 22 kg fish,
a 21.5 kg fish,
18.8 kg fish, and all the other fish were between 11 and 17 kg. We had a truly wonderful week. The owner is also very friendly.

I asked the owners to provide a boat in the future for the safety of the fish , to help if you get snagged up, overall no

Hi am going to this lake sep can u tell me is thier electric to boil kettle and charge phones also is thier water for tea cooking etc .any advice would be welcome ,
we just home from a visit to lake Marinerie. The drive wasn’t bad 3 1/2 hrs from Calais and tunnel very quick and good. The lake was a perfect size for few people but great for us 2 as used the accommodation and fished most lake. The lady owner and husband was very friendly helped point out several locations to target but not too much so we could have and hung around ourselves. We could use bait boats which made the fishing so much better. The accommodation was nice clean had everything you needed but no TV or radio or wi fi. Good signal on own phones so played our own radio and no tv was a good miss to have. There was plenty of fish caught a PB for me very pleased 56lb mirror out of 25 runs 19 fish mostly mid 20,s with 1 early 30. Sturgeon gosty grass carp coming out. Friend had around 15 runs 10 fish biggest 46lb mirror. Was only there 4 days. Baiting worked well with only 1 1/2 drops on boat mostly 1 once built swim up so no heavy baiting needed. We used around 15kg boilies 1/2 sack oelket 15 kg particle each. Overall very tired as runs were good on off between us day and night so grab sleep when you can. Done several trips over years this very good trip and lake. The 2 nd swim is a little run from bedroom at night to get out and to swim but plenty of lake to allow fish to run a bit as long as you dont mind a burst run from sleep. Kept me on my toes. Last night I pulled rods in as needed sleep for journey home. Well worth going. No monsters but good chance of 40/50.
what a great family fishing trip we had. I had carp and sturgeon all week long and broke my pb a multiple of time 35lb being my biggest ill be rebooking the lake twice next year. The whole group caught carp and sturgeon thank you for amazing trip and looking forward to being back in new year.
