[09:51, 28/09/2026] +44 7580 001831: We had a great trip to Noute 2, Fabrice and Laura couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Really great hosts. We Managed 27 fish over our week between the 4 of us and the breakdown being as follows;
3 x 40s
9 x 30s
13 x 20s
2 x upper teens
The biggest being 44lb 12oz and smallest being 18lb so a really good spread of sizes.
They all fell to a variety of hookbaits with natural colours seeming to marginally edge out bright yellows and oranges. Both bottom baits and pop ups done the business.
We used exclusively the house bait which they seemed more than happy to eat and the pricing was reasonable.
Overall wouldn’t hesitate to return, thanks for a great trip.
What a week! Around 19 fish from 19lb-47.12lb, 8 fish over 40lb, 7 fish over 30lb what more could you ask for, the odd Tench n Pike however not a nuisance. Signs and shows very limited so eyes on definitely needed to unlock the fish.
Facilities are basic but cabin has running water and stove, showers are 2 Euros for 4 minutes not overly warm but does the trick, free roaming Goats and the odd horse but never a problem. Would gladly return to try unlock the lake further. Flat bottom zero weed, snaggy margins that the fish are fully aware of.
Find the fish get the results!
fishing was brilliant facility could of been better. The gas hob would only properly work on 2 of the 4 burners. other than that the lake and fishing was brilliant just came a little unprepared for the cooking side of things
10/10 very helpful people can’t do enough for. My van blow up on the way over if it wasn’t for the owners I would off been stuck. Great fishing complex. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for all your help
We booked noute 1 and noute 2 for 8 one a child
Noute 2 peg 2 got a 49lb and 39lb
Peg 3 had 45 lb and 42lb aswell as 10 30 lbs and some 20 s
Peg 4 1 37lb and 7 20s
Peg 5 3 high 20s 10 30s and 1 45lb
Peg 6 4 30lbs
The fish did follow the wind from right to left bay pegs went mad

Peg 1 a little slow with 6 fish 26 lb the biggest
Peg 3 had 8 i think high twenties and 1 42lb
Peg 4 had 22 fish up to 44lb
In both lakes the fish followed the wind .
Overall we all had a great week fishing the owners are lovely and chatted with us about the best pegs
The cabins are for charging boats and mobiles a fridge cooker and a sink. Would we go again yes the lakes are great and plenty to fish too.
Amazing week on Noute 2 over 30 fish caught between 2 of us, 3x 40s to 48lb 12oz 15x 30s to 37lb and 15 20s to 29lb, caravan ok for storing food and charging bits eco toilet block and shower shared at other side of lake short walk, supplied boat which was handy for baiting and laying rigs for out of reach fish, alot of rats as other species of animals such as coypu which will dive on your bait, donkeys and goats present so no poison to control so make sure you have sealed containers for bait storage, crays are present so hard hookers recommended. Other than this wicked secure stay and will return in the future.
Fantastic week at Noute 2. Group of 4 of us caught 80+ carp to 46lbs (28lbs average weight) on the house boiliies. Fabrice and Laura provided a warm welcome and were available whenever needed. Would love to return soon.
had a great week not a massive haul of carp 20 in total but second trip now to this comes and think it’s a great place we all enjoyed our week and sometimes it’s not always about the fishing but the company and being outdoors enjoying the surroundings which are great.
NOUTE 2 a tricky first couple of days however this picked up towards the end of the week with a total of 19 carp x4 40
+ lb and the rest being mostly 30+ with a couple being mid 20
A great average weight of carp
Love the lake/ the owners are great and very friendly.
My only bad point was that the bait order was not correct for the 2nd year running and with the order being placed with the owners about 8 weeks prior I would expect to have the bait we ordered. This was the only thing that let us down.
we all had a great time on noute 2. It was our first time French fishing, and we all caught and beat our pb.
Nice size lake with well positioned swims .
The facilities at Noute are very good with clean compost toilets and showers.
We also had a mobile home in the field with cooker , fridge and kitchen which was a nice touch.
The bait shop is well stocked with a good selection of baits and a basic selection of end tackle , hooks etc
Fabrice and Laura are very helpful and made us welcome. All in all a great week’s fishing.

When we arrived the owners showed us to the lake and told us the best spots to fish and gave us alot of other information about the lake. The cabin was lovely and clean as we’re the shower block and toilets. It’s was a lovely stay with plenty of fish caught. A very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting
Fabrice and laura made us feel very welcome on arrival. Quick walk round the lake swims chosen and the rods were soon in action. Approximately 40-45 fish out between 3 of us biggest going 44lb. Lovely place to fish decent facilities will be back in the future
Had an amazing week at the exclusive Noute 2 lake via Majestic Carp in France. Two of us had the 6 acre lake to ourselves landing 35 fish between us including 20 between 20-29lbs and 10 between 30-39lbs. Although we did not get any monsters, we had a great week and caught some pretty amazing carp

We arrived and felt welcomed from the off, Fabrice and Laura checked us in, handed over our bait order and showed us the lake and some top spots on where to fish ✌️
The weather wasn’t on our side with cold temperatures after the previous week was into mid 20’s however the lake Still provided some banging fish of which 5 were over 40lb and the biggest tipping 46lb on the nose.
Few of us ending up sharing swims avoid anyone blanking and the fish just weren’t feeding in the deeper waters. All fish come from the shallower depths and margins.
Facilities are what you expect, the on site lodge had a fridge and Freezer and hob cooker which was a bonus for the social side of things.
Toilets and showers were cleaned daily by the looks of things.
Overall could not really complain about anything.
All 5 anglers smashed PB’s and one of us managed 3 PB’s during the week, so lots of buckets and soakings.
Noute 2 was better then we expected had seen some pointless YouTube video saying it’s noisy etc this was not the case!! Fabrice an Laura were amazing hosts an always helpful if we needed anything an advice on the lake.
We had 40 fish out between us an even managed to catch the koi named boo-boo. All fish are in excellent condition an fight hard.
Is you put the work in the fishing is rewarding. Facilities lakes an everything in between we would highly recommend noute2 an the other lakes on the complex look just as active.

We fished noute 2 as a party of 6 , we had hoped for maybe 25 fish but had a amazing session with 53 fish , 12 over 30 lb , 2 over 40 lb and a 51 lb Mirror , had a grass carp over 30 and a lrg koi also , Laura and fabrice were great even getting us more maize that we had not ordered in advance with 48 hr notice , but running out of what we had ,they gave coins for the showers ( shower does run and cold and not a steady temperature but does the job ) worth going 3 off the group went home with pb
Fished Noute 2 week beginning 29th April.
Between 5 of us we caught 50 healthy carp, all giving great battles, including some PB’s for a few of us!
Food package was good,delivered to our swims.
Facilities were very good, hot showers and toilets cleaned daily.
Lake was well kept as were all the surroundings.
Fabrice and Laura were the perfect hosts.
100% recommend this lake, put the effort in and you will reap the rewards.
We will be back next year!!
Just back from a week on Noute 2. Excellent fishing. Acceptable facilities. Fabrice & Laura are wonderful host who go above & beyond to make your stay a successful one.
