Baits

Each angler has his/her preferences with regard to bait but we have had good feedback on the use of the Redacy, Activ Tuna and Brutal Nectar boilies from the Hexabaits range which you can find here.

The combination of spicy boilies with floating baits such as fake corn, poppups and watfer work very well. There is a significant portion of the stock that has been around since the lake was created and is more wary and wilder. In these circumstances the use of baits that are as close as possible to their natural diet can be very effective.

Baiting

When baiting, it is important to locate the most productive areas. Once this is done, don’t hesitate to use a heavy hand to attract the curiosity of the fish. Pellets and particles work very well in Sauvage. Don’t hesitate if possible to add hemp-seed, liquids or ground-baits to make your baiting even more visible.

Hot spot

The best spots are located on the bank in front of the swims under the trees. It is highly recommended to bring and use a bait boat to access the best areas more accurately. Do not neglect the variations of depths, especially on the swims 4 and 5.
